Cooling System
Like the importance of oil to your engine, the automotive cooling system is a major fluid artery requiring annual maintenance to ensure there is no blockages of scale and internal deposit build up.
A cooling system needs to operate at an optimal temperature to ensure your car runs as it should. The thermostat, radiator, cooling fans and hoses are all interlinked, and the cooling system is only as strong as the weakest link. The quality of the coolant running through the cooling system is key – it should be changed every year to ensure peace of mind. Note any warning lights on the dash or a temperature gauge in the red zone – they could cost you big dollars if you blow a head gasket – or worse, an engine!
